Dutch Airport Taxi Direct

Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 24 September 2026

This is an English translation provided for your convenience. The Dutch version is the original and legally binding text; in case of any discrepancy, the Dutch version prevails.

1. Who we are

These terms apply to all bookings and rides offered by Taxi Comfort Amsterdam, trading as Dutch Airport Taxi Direct ("we", "us"), Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number 91973201, registered at Fannius Scholtenstraat 25 B, 1051 ET Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

2. Applicability

These terms and conditions apply to every booking placed with us via our website, by phone, via WhatsApp, or in any other way.

3. Formation of the booking

A booking is formed as soon as you submit the booking request via our website and we confirm it to you by phone, WhatsApp, or email. The price shown when booking on the website is an estimate based on the estimated route and the statutory meter rate set by the Dutch government.

4. Prices and payment

The price shown on the website is an estimate. The actual ride price is determined by the taximeter in the car and may differ from the estimate given in advance, for example due to traffic, roadworks, or a different route. For a round-trip booking, a fixed discount of 10% applies to the statutory meter rate for both the outbound and return journey. You do not pay in advance: payment takes place after the ride, directly to the driver, by debit card, credit card (Visa/Mastercard), or cash.

5. Changing or cancelling

For changing or cancelling a booking, please refer to our cancellation policy, which forms part of these terms and conditions.

6. Carrying out the ride

We make every effort to pick you up at the agreed time and to transport you to your destination as quickly and safely as possible. For airport rides, we take flight delays into account wherever possible. Delays caused by traffic, weather conditions, roadworks, or force majeure cannot be attributed to us.

7. Liability

We are not liable for damage resulting from circumstances beyond our control (force majeure), such as extreme traffic congestion, weather conditions, or unforeseen road closures, provided we have made reasonable efforts to be on time. Our liability is in all cases limited to the amount paid out by our (if any) business liability insurance, or, failing that, to a maximum of the value of the ride in question.

8. Conduct and safety

Passengers must follow the driver's instructions during the ride, in particular regarding safety (such as the use of seat belts and child seats). If a passenger causes damage to the vehicle, we may charge the cost of this to the passenger.

9. Complaints

Do you have a complaint about a booked ride? Please contact us as soon as possible, and in any case within 14 days of the ride, at info@dutch-airport-taxi-direct.com. We respond as quickly as possible, and aim to respond within 5 business days.

10. Applicable law

Dutch law applies to these terms and conditions and to all agreements with Dutch Airport Taxi Direct. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
